Quebec City

It's often been said this picturesque city, gay friendly Quebec City has beautiful narrow streets, grand walls and ramparts, and ancient stone houses representing an inexpensive European vacation for North Americans. One must add that it is a great place to pursue romantic passions. It can be very cruisy, because the city's filled with tourists and legions of young people, as this city hosts frequent special events, like its Summer Festival (in July), and its famous Carnaval de Québec (in February).

The city's gay scene is concentrated in the faubourg St-Jean, a several block area of bars, cafes, boutiques, and even a sauna, just outside the walls of the old city. Several attractions are located inside le vieux Quebec.

Perched atop cap Diamant, surveying the St. Lawrence River, gay friendly Québec City is one of the landmarks of North American history.
